Tuna Önder
Street Photography
"I yam what I yam" - Popeye

Picture
Self Portrait, 2006
Turkish born Tuna Önder has been capturing street scenes since the early 1980's. Originally influenced by Cartier-Bresson, Evans, Winogrand, etc., his images have recently evolved into a more modern aesthetic through the use of color in his street-style photography.

The use of strict compositional style to capture everyday, fleeting moments have made his images somewhat unique in the street genre.

Tuna continues to shoot on film using rangefinder cameras.
